Sungai Tinggi Beach Villa

Sungai Tinggi Beach Villa has been designed to optimise its extraordinary beachfront setting and ocean views. A large open-sided living pavilion fashioned after a traditional Balinese wantilan (village meeting hall) forms the villa’s social hub. To one side is the master bedroom pavilion with a private lounge. To the other, a two-storey building contains three guest bedrooms and next to it is a privately positioned delightful two-bedroom Joglo guesthouse with its own kitchenette and dining areas. Set well back from the main living and dining pavilions is a chef’s kitchen and staff service area. Amongst the lush gardens is an 18-metre swimming pool and sundeck and a private coconut grove, complete with large tiled balé pavilion, that makes an idyllic wedding venue. Tucked away on Bali’s west coast, this charming beachfront villa offers a beautiful mix of traditional Balinese architecture and modern comfort. Sungai Tinggi Beach Villa is set within expansive tropical gardens and opens directly onto the sand, making it an ideal location for a laid-back, coastal celebration. Whether you're envisioning a barefoot beach ceremony or a relaxed garden party, this villa has the space, style, and soul to make it truly special. Sungai Tinggi Beach Villa (sungai tinggi means ‘high river’) was designed by long-term Bali residents as a spacious and comfortable family home. Created in the style of a traditional Balinese compound, the villa comprises a series of living and sleeping pavilions oriented for optimum privacy as well as for the glorious ocean views. The six-bedroomed main house can be rented independently from the private two-bedroom Joglo that's located to the other side of the main building. The liberal use of local materials – exotic hardwood and terrazzo floors, coral-limestone walls and vaulted alang-alang thatched roofs – is testimony to the owners’ passion for Bali, as is their stunning collection of museum-quality art and artefacts that contribute to the villa’s unique character and charm.

12 people (Main house: 2 king and 2 king rooms convertible to twins. 2 extra beds may be set up for 2 kids (extra charge applies). The joglo has 1 king room and 1 twin bed convertible to king.

Dining

Western, Asian, vegetarian and children’s menu. Requests accommodated (including special diets). Grocery cost is charged 20% handling fee which is subject to service and tax at the prevailing rate.

Car and driver available for 8 hours at a special rate of USD45++/day (excluding petrol).
